Austin1949 reviews The Last Myth on Amazon:
Much more than I expected. A brilliant mix of history, religion, mythology, anthropology, public policy and more without being didactic or preachy. They examine the Mayans and Madeline Albright, the book of Isaiah and the work of Joseph Campbell, Tarzan and Jung–all in very readable prose that moves relentlessly to the present and beyond. By focusing on the cataclysmic, the authors somehow steered me to a more hopeful vision of our collective future. If you don’t read this, the world is not gonna end (today anyway). However, if you do read it, one more person will have a better grasp of where we have been and where we are headed.
